August 2nd (Tbilisi)

 Relatively quiet day today.  7 of us went on an organised walking tour of old Tbilisi - after 3 hrs of walking up and down hill in the morning heat we were all exhausted when we got back to the hostel. 



We learnt a lot from the Georgian guide and we were even invited into a real Tbilisi apartment in the old town. 

We walked through the old town to the Peace Bridge, then to the edge of the Botanic Gardens before heading up to the fortress and then back though the old town streets to the main route to the newer part of the city. 









In the early evening I walked across one of the bridges to the north bank and then up the hill to view the Cathedral (very large, modern and very impressive). 











On my way down I came over the Peace Bridge again to catch a wedding couple having some photos taken. 
Tomorrow we leave for Azerbaijan and onwards to the Caspian Sea.  Back to tents tomorrow. 
No more progress on the Truck Cluedo - the killings are obviously getting harder to achieve.
