Hue 8th October

After arriving here late morning I spent the afternoon going around the old city which is incredably photogenic.  Lots of the buildings were destroyed in neither 1947 or 1965 and the old city is now being reconstructed slowely (including the Royal buildings etc). 

Spotted some wildlife in the old city (Frog, Lizard and Elephant), but not all in the same place. 

The current noisy, busy new city is a world away from how the old city used to be although it would be busy it would not have the millions of motorbikes and cars which clog the new city streets.
Returned to the Backpackers hostal using a cycle rickshaw as I had been walking for hours in the old city. 



Found out that Carl & Vanessa (the South Africans) had decided quit the Truck from tomorrow and do their own thing.  Wishing you all the best Carl & Vanessa.
