Monday 4th July

No travel today.  Went to Bucharest centre in the morning using public bus (eventually I worked out which way I had to go!).  Definitely 2 faces of Romania poor rural Romania from yesterday and the biggest US style shopping village not far from the camp site today - huge fronted by a massive Carrefour supermarket and IKEA.  Also included M&S and Debenhams.  Managed to get a couple of stamps at a Post Office - hope the cards reach the UK eventually.  Some people upgraded to rooms at the campsite (mainly couples) whereas the rest of us were in our tents again - at least they have dried out today.
