Left Budapest at 7:00 on 2nd for Romania. Long drive day. Stopped twice – once at Tesco (before the border) and then stopped at the border to show passport and change Hungarian Florin for Romanian Lei. Romania was obviously much poorer economically, different agriculture etc. Bushcamp in the middle of Romania. Now 2 hrs ahead of UK
On 3rd spent some time discovering the local town, then onto Dracula's castle. Change of plan now going to Bucharest for 2 nights. Saw lots of pretty countryside including horses and carts etc. Arrived at Bucharest camp site 7:00 , but good facilities. Roads variable - good motorways, but also very bumpy on the minor roads.
Glad to see you're helping the Tesco share price even when you're out of the UK!!
