Route

And on to the Chinese Border (part 1)

Sunday 4th September

We set off this morning from the yurts towards Naryn which we reached early afternoon and had lunch and caught up on the internet. It took us the first 2 hours to get off the small track up to the lake back to the main road. There was not much to see in the town and a lot of the shops were closed, but we managed to find what we needed. We left setting off towards Tash-Rabat (last town before the border) and set up bush camp under the shadow of the Himalayas at about 17:00. A small dog almost immediately found us (where do they all come from).
